The Regional Government Programme identifies among its crucial objectives the process of modernization of the Public Administration, which goes through all policies to increase and improve the ability to offer increasingly effective and safe quality services to citizens and the entire productive, economic and social system of Apulia.

The challenge posed by this strategic objective is mainly based on the ability of the public system to work synergistically, to make the strategic design for the development of our territory more effective, leveraging the capacity for innovation.

The main planning tool that today allows the policies, designed in the participatory process that gave rise to the Government Programme, to be developed is the 2014-2020 regional programming. This programming cycle also makes it possible to start a process that brings regional objectives closer to the most challenging national and European goals.

Among these, as the European Digital Agenda pointed out, one of the seven flagship initiatives of the Europe 2020 strategy, which sets the objectives for growth in the European Union to be achieved by 2020 and defines the objectives for developing the digital economy and culture within the Europe 2020 strategy.

In line with the European Agenda and the “Strategy for Digital Growth 2014-2020” proposed by the national government, the Digital Agenda Puglia 2020 has defined its strategic objectives.
